It's never to late to start your journey of self-discovery with yoga.
Firefly Yoga provides classes to accommodate every level of yoga practice. All of our classes are open to all levels of experience, and students are welcome to take a modification to any pose to suit their practice. If you are new to yoga we highly recommend speaking with one of our Firefly Yoga instructors or team members to help you choose a class that is right for you. If you feel you need some extra attention due to an injury or other circumstances, Firefly Yoga also offers private sessions. Private yoga sessions are useful for addressing special concerns and physical issues you may have or for making you feel at ease walking into a public class. What to Wear and Bring
Wear comfortable workout clothing. You will be barefoot. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, a towel and water. Firefly Yoga has high quality mats, towels and yoga mat towels that you can rent for a modest fee if needed.
Yoga Studio Etiquette
Shoes are removed and stored in our comfortable lobby areas of each studio. Please turn off your cell phone before entering the studio. Please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or other scents that may cause adverse reactions in other students.
Let the instructor know if you have any recent or relevant injuries or if you are pregnant – they can work with you to offer appropriate alternatives to the postures. Practice Yoga on an empty stomach. It is best to wait 3 hours after eating to practice yoga. Make sure you are hydrated well before class.
Remember, Yoga is non-competitive and poses are never forced – rest when you need to and work within your abilities.
